FBR Achieves Tax Collection Target For July FY21-22

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has met the sales collection target of July because it amassed Rs. 410 billion towards the target of Rs. 342 billion.


Sources told ProPakistani that the tax branch has amassed Rs. 135 billion Income Tax, Rs. 190 billion income tax, Rs. 22 billion Federal Excise Duty, and Rs. sixty-three billion Customs responsibilities until Friday.


The tax branch has handed its sales collection target by Rs. sixty-eight billion in July 2021-22, attributable to a variety of things such as discouraging the coverage of advance taxes, growing the import bill, assets added.

Sources, in addition, stated that FBR has also paid Rs. 20 billion refunds at some stage in the first month of the current fiscal year

Sources stated that the FBR is regularly sending notices to outlets who do now no longer combine their machines with the FBR system, except enforcing heavy fines.
