32 streets sealed in capital as Covid-19 cases mount

District administrations of Islamabad and Rawalpindi have imposed clever lockdown in 64 streets and regions of dual towns after a pointy upward thrust in COVID-19 cases. According to details, 49 streets in Islamabad whilst 15 regions of Rawalpindi were sealed through respective civil administrations as over 550 humans in each city tested positive for Coronavirus withinside the remaining 24 hours.

Islamabad’s management has sealed streets 1, 2, 6 in E-11/four, streets 46 and 53 in F-11/3, road eight in G-6/2, streets 56, 62, 66, 67, 91, 93, 96, 98, 99, 100 in G-9/four and streets 52, 53, 69 and 70 in G-10/3.


Streets 30, 32, 45, 47, 48, 49, 74 in G-13/2, streets 91, 92, 95, 109 in I-8/4, street 15 in I-eight/1, street 78 in I-eight/3, road 28-B in I-9/4, streets 55, 56, 57 58, 61, 64, 65, 80, 81, 82, 83 in I-10/1, streets 32 and 33 in I-10/2, road 26 in I-10/4, and road 19-A in G-15/1 have been sealed as well.


On the opposite hand, Rawalpindi’s management has imposed clever lockdowns withinside the regions of Umar and Abu Bakar blocks Phase-eight Bahria Town, road 16 in Dhoke Khabba, Arya Mohallah, New Gulzar-i-Quaid, St sixteen in New Lalazar Wah Cantt, Askari 14, Chatri Chowk KRL, Dhoke Kashmirian, Morgan, Mohallah Aliabad, seventh Road Satellite Town, Tench Bhatta, Lalazar, Village Nara Kahuta, Quaid-i-Azam Colony, and Nai Abadi Naseerabad. 

Meanwhile, Mass Vaccination Centers (MVCs) in dual towns have emerged as breeding grounds for Coronavirus as hundreds of residents are traveling them each day for vaccinations with the whole disregard for SOPs.
